Gum Treatment:
When our patients have there first visit with us we check for gum problems.  Taking a history of your oral health is important.  Questions like do your gums bleed when you brush your teeth, or have you ever been told you have gum disease, can help us to diagnose the best treatment to save your natural teeth.  Caught early enough gum disease can be treated before major bone loss has occurred.  Proper home care is important as well as keeping your regular dental visits.  In some cases where major bone loss has occurred referral to a gum specialist is necessary

Root Canals:
When a cavity goes into the nerve the tooth then needs a Root Canal or Endodontic procedure.  This is when we remove the nerve and replace it with a material that will seal the canal.  Dr. Jarrell uses a special rotary hand piece which will reduce the amount of time for the procedure.
